Inis Oírr is (in our humble opinion) the most beautiful of the three Aran Islands.The most easterly of the three,
location offers an impressive vista from it's nearest neighbour Inis Meáin to the
west, north to the
Twelve Pins of
across Galway Bay to the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher in Co. Clare.
On a fine
day you can
even glimpse the mountains of
Kerry way off to the south!
This little piece of paradise has a

Inis Oírr is very bike friendly with little traffic
and cycling gives you the luxury of exploring the island
own pace.Of course we encourage you to take a few days to truly enjoy all the island has to offer but if you can't,we
suggest a route to make the
best of the time you have.

sizes, and smaller ones for the kids.

- locks are not necessary on Inis Oírr:)
Inis Oírr is easily reached either by ferry from Doolin in Co. Clare and Ross a
Mhíl in Connemara or by a small
plane service from
Indreabhán in Connemara.
