Inis Oírr (Inisheer) is very bike friendly, with little traffic, and cycling gives you the luxury of exploring the island at your own pace. We encourage you to take a few days to truly enjoy all the island has to offer. For those who only have a short stay, we will happily suggest a bike route to make the best use of your time.
Our bicycle hire is conveniently located in a purpose built dry stone building across the road from the pier. We are open all year, 7 days a week.
We have a variety of bikes and accessories available to suit all needs. Booking is advisable.
Should you arrive off-season and we appear to be closed, don’t worry – we live directly behind the premises and will be delighted to accommodate you. Simply knock on the door or you can call us on the number below.
Inis Oírr is easily reached either by ferry from Doolin in Co. Clare and Ros a’ Mhíl in Connemara or by a small plane service from Indreabhán in Connemara. Visit the Getting Here page for contact details.
