We have bikes to cater for all: 21 speed mountain bikes for the adults, in various frame sizes, and smaller ones for the kids. There are a limited number of extra large bikes available. Child seats are available. Locks are not necessary on Inis Oírr 🙂
Electric bikes are ideal for those who might struggle with pedal power alone. There are a few available at an additional cost, and booking is advised.
For families, we have a wide range of options which should hopefully cater for all. These include tag-alongs, trailers, and back and front babyseats. Booking is advisable especially if you require special equipment during peak season.
The wearing of helmets is encouraged and we provide them free of charge for your safety.
Child Accessory Guidelines:
The most suitable accessory will vary for each child, but the general guidelines are as follows:
Back babyseats are suitable for kids 1 to 5 years up to 22kg weight.
Trailers can carry 1 or 2 kids of 2 to 5 years and up to 22kg each.
Tag-alongs are best for 4 to 10 year olds of up to 34 Kg.
