Places To See

Inis Oírr / Inisheer is (in our humble opinion) the most beautiful of the three Aran Islands. The most easterly of the three, its unique location offers an impressive vista from its nearest neighbour Inis Meáin to the west, north to the Twelve Pins of Connemara, across Galway Bay to the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher in Co. Clare. On a fine day you can even glimpse the mountains of Kerry way off to the south. This little piece of paradise has a surprising number of historical sights to be delved into.
